That was a very cool and exciting week!

On Monday, the 27th March we drove to England with the Bili courses of year eight and nine. Luckily we didn’t have any traffic jams on the way to England. We met our host families at 8.45 pm at our meeting points. On Tuesday we had to be at our pick up points at 8.15 am. Our bus picked us up and then we drove to Eastbourne to the cliffs. On this day, it was very rainy but it was cool to see Eastbourne from another view. At 7pm we were back home at our host family's to eat with them.

On Wednesday we met on our meeting points at 8 am. On this day everyone was excited because we drove to London. At first we drove to a ship station where we took a ship which took us to London. We saw many different sights like the Big Ben and the Buckingham Palace. We also had free time to do something with our friends. After an hour we had to meet again. After we saw all these cool things we had to go back to the ship and returned to Eastbourne again. We were home at 9.30 pm.

On Thursday, which was the last full day in England (and which came faster than we would have thought!), we drove to Brighton. In Brighton we had 4 hours hours of free time. We went to the shopping centre or had lunch. It was very cool because you could do something with your friends on the last day. After 4 hours we had to be at our meeting point to go bowling. Then we returned to our host families. We could go outside to see Eastbourne for the last time. But before that we had to pack our stuff.

On Friday we had to be at our meeting point at 8am. We drove home for like 12 hours. Suddenly we had traffic jam for 5 hours, where we were waiting in front of the harbour to take our ship. After 5 hours we were on the ship. At 12.30 am we arrived at our school and got picked up by our parents.

That was a very cool and exciting week!
